Liners...

Liners are often used to make ‘poop’ clean-up easier. They do not add absorbency but “catch” solids.

Disposable Nappy Liners:

BiddyKins bamboo nappy liners are disposable (and biodegradable), you simply lift them out of the nappy with the “poop” and throw them away, or flush them. In our experience, nappy liners work best once baby is passing solid stools. They come in a roll of 100 sheets.

A disposable nappy liner must be used as a protective barrier when bums cream is used: it acts as protective barrier. Bum cream (i.e. not cloth safe balms) contain ingredients like zinc that clog the nappy– BiddyKins, and other reputable retailers do sell cloth "safe" bum balm which do not contain ingredients that will clog the cloth.

Washable Fleece Nappy Liners:

A BiddyKins fleece liner is simply a single layer of soft fleece fabric that is intended to make dealing with solids a little easier. The layer of fleece is simply laid out on top of the nappy so that it would be the topmost layer right against the bum. When changing the nappy, the fleece liner is lifted out and any solids thrown away or flushed, and then the liner goes into the dry bucket along with the rest of the nappy to be washed and re-used. They are not to be used when using bum cream - since the cream will clog the liner just as it would clog the nappy beneath. Washable fleece liners are ideal when using cloth safe bum balm.  Several fleece liners are usually needed since they must be washed after each use. The fleece fabric does feel drier against the skin than non-staydry inserts.
